FAQ


Are your products genuine Clogau?

Yes. We are Clogau, we operate in the Clogau head office in Bodelwyddan North Wales. We are the ONLY official sellers of Clogau on eBay and the only eBay seller that can guarantee that our stock is 100% genuine Clogau. If you purchase a “new with tags” item from us, you will receive exactly that standard item you would expect to receive if you were to purchase directly from Clogau. If an item says “new with defects” it isn't quite 100% perfect – please read the actual listing for more information – but it is still a really high standard and if you look at our feedback you will see all our customers are delighted with the items they receive, especially for the price they have paid. Also for extra peace of mind, you would have 30 days to return an item for a full refund if you weren't totally satisfied (excluding earrings due to hygiene reasons). 


When will my item be posted?

Ordinarily items purchased before 4pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are sent out that same day (apart from very busy periods). If not they will be sent out the next working day. When an item is despatched you should receive a notification through eBay and/or your own personal email address which will include a tracking number.


When can I expect to receive my item?

If your eBay purchase qualifies for free next day delivery you should have your item the next working day (if you pay before 4pm). If you pay the postage upgrade (additional cost) before 4pm you should have your item the next working day. If your item doesn't qualify for next day delivery and you haven't paid for a postage upgrade your item should be with you via Royal Mail within 1 to 5 working days. If your item hasn't arrived within 5 working days, Royal Mail only consider an item “lost in post” if it hasn't been delivered within 15 working days and we would have to wait until that time has passed before sending out a replacement or issuing a refund and we appreciate your patience during this time. 


Can I collect this item in person?

We work from a secure premise and cannot permit customer collection under any circumstances. The only way for us to get the items to you is by recorded/special delivery or via FedEx. 


What are your postage rates?

We offer free postage on all our domestic orders (unless specified otherwise). If you purchase multiple items and pay for them all in one go, they will be despatched together in one parcel and the total value of the order may upgrade your postage to next day delivery. Within the UK, orders totalling less than £250.00 are sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Orders over £250.00 are sent by Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery or FedEx. International orders are sent by Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed For.


I am not at home in the daytime to sign for a parcel

Remember, for security purposes, someone must be at home to sign for the delivery. If nobody is at home, the postman/courier will leave a card with details on for you to arrange an alternative delivery date which suites you or to collect from the sorting office/depot. In light of this, a customer may wish to specify a work, or other alternative address for delivery. 


I want to track my parcel

You should have your Royal Mail or FedEx tracking number on your eBay purchase history and/or in your email order confirmation so will need to log into the Royal Mail or FedEx website to track your parcel with that tracking number. 


I ordered the wrong ring size or have received the wrong ring size

If you contact us through eBay messages we will give you all the information you need on how to return the ring safely to us for a size exchange or refund. 


My item is faulty or you have sent me the wrong item

In the unlikely event that your item is faulty or you have received the wrong item please contact us through eBay messages we will give you all the information you need on how to return the item safely to us. Once we have received it we will contact you to discuss your options (exchange, refund, etc).  


Do your lockets or pendants come with a chain?

Yes, all our pendants and lockets come on a chain unless specified otherwise. 


Can you contact me when an item I want comes into stock?

Unfortunately, we can't contact customers when a certain item comes in because we get too many requests and just simply can't keep records of who wants what. If you add us to your favourite sellers you will get email notifications of when we list new items so you will be one of the first to know. We add new items nearly every day, so hopefully the item you are after comes in soon. 


Do your items come with a warranty?

Our eBay items don't come with any warranty but we do pride ourselves on our customer service so if there were ever any issues in the future we would always be willing to have a look at your item. You have 30 days from purchase to return an item for a full refund (excluding earrings due to hygiene reasons).
